Studio Dress Code
For your convenience you can order all of your needed dance supplies with us!
2011-2012 Ordering days at the Studio:
Wednesday August 10 - 3:00-5:00pm
Thursday August 18 - 10:00am-6:00pm
Friday August 19 - 10:00am-6:00pm
*All supplies must be paid in full at the time of ordering.
Hair must be pulled back at all times. Those students attending ballet classes: hair must be in a bun.
Ballet-
pink tights, pink ballet slippers (split sole, as soon as size allows), black cami-style leotard. A black or pink short ballet skirt is optional
Pointe-
same as Ballet, pointe shoes -see teacher for instructions
Tap-
Black tap shoes. Can be either black oxford taps or buckle over Mary Jane style, please see teacher as each class is different depending on the age of the students. Pink tights, black cami-style leotard. Black dance pants or shorts are optional
Jazz-
Tan slip-on, split sole jazz (low cut) boots/shoes. Black dance pants or shorts are optional.
Modern-
leotard, black or pink tights-bare feet
Creative Movement-
same as Ballet
Hip Hop-*PLEASE NOTE COLOR CHANGE:
*White Hip Hop sneakers, black leotard, pink tights-black dance pants or shorts are optional.
Lyrical-
Pink ballet slippers, black cami-style leotard, pink tights.
Irish Step-
Any color leotard, tights and black ballet shoes or ghillies (Irish Step shoes)
Zumba-
Sneakers and loose comfortable clothing you can move in!
Majorette/Baton-
Any color leotard, black dance pants, we will be ordering the sneakers for this class. Students will be contacted for sizing.
Yoga-
Any color leotard, black dance shorts or black dance pants, bare feet, Yoga mat.
We ask that all students be prepared for class in the proper attire.
